Musings..

As I sit to write my first post in over two years, a lot of things pass my mind. I've travelled in life meeting a lot of people, experienced quite a few things, having understanding some. Yet, as I write today, its a mixed feeling; it takes me back to my writing in Hydrogen. I had a different perspective of life then; Just kicked out of a job, I didn't know what to do, what to prove, was more wanderlust then (am still the same, of a different degree:-)).
So how have things changed? Have I become better? How do I go about things from now on? Many questions, many answers, some that I'd like to think about, some that I dread to ponder.

I've started to travel a bit now, would like to continue the same.
Have begun to rediscover the flair for technology that I had as a school-kid.
For the record, I've synced my I-phone for the first time today; ironical that it had to be after the creator's date with time.
Rockstar's songs in my phone sound very good; love the sounds of Sadda Haq..Thank you Kishore.:-)
Life's begun to look a little monotonous, should better my ways of handling it.
Yes, I've begun to appreciate gymming; Nikhil's toils at the gyms. (:-))Not that I've begun to work-out, not yet. Would love to.
Have begun Green-teaing..:-P
I've always liked to meet people; to know them, to get their side of life. Shall remain an observer for life.
Have begun understanding the meaning of little things; when I look back I realize things that I should've lived more. Remembering the Diwali of 2007; Kishore's (&Bharath's) last one here..it was the last one that all of us celebrated together. Should we have celebrated better? May be. But that was the one. Other things like the time at Buddha statue on the friendship day of 2006 (that whole day was a dream), visiting Tirupati last January, speaking to parents and understanding their stance of life, travelling to my mother's growing-up place near Chevella, spending time with Vijay recently at our home, going to all the movies with Nikhil and Roy in tow; the inconsequential, yet necessary sharing of things with Nikhil (he's more of a brother now:-)), the trip to Goa (this was a game changer), the numerous rides in the city when Sreekar was here recently (everyday was a party..:-D), my last day at EA, the on-the-go movie-plans, the endless discussions on everything with Kish, the countless things I share with Renu.:-) When I look back, each moment has its importance.
Have begun to understand other's view of life; I'd like to believe that i'm more accommodating now. I've accepted the fact that Roy doesn't answer his phone more often than not.:-)
Am talking more now. Sometimes I just go on..:-) I wish I should rein in my choice of words. A recent experience was something that bordered on embarrassment.
Have organized some trips and events; am more confident now of pulling off the improbable ones as well.:-) I'd like to continue to planning and organizing things and executing them to the T.
Have better ears now. I have begun to listen better than before.
I cherish my time at EA more now. For all that happens in my life, it shall remain a special place; for the relationships I forged, for the experiences, for letting me know that however bad things go, there's always a silver lining somewhere. Will remember the people.
Have got a chance to drive quite a few cars. Yes, I'm liking it now. "The" drive for now has to be the Karnataka trip this July. The places, the terrains, the roads, the car. Thank you Sundeep for the Innova..:-)
Rediscovered twitter, one of many things that keep me going daily.

Oh yes, forgot almost, have begun working for Infosys. For the first time since school, I'm at a place without any identity crisis. Had a tough time explaining about my inter-college, engineering college (thanks to my rank), Convergys (was I there?), EA (obvious reasons). Not that I was bothered, it just feels different to be associated with a known brand.

Life's changed, I've changed (yes, a little:-)) as well. yet, I'd to like to be a better person, a better individual and a active contributing member of the society.

Have always yearned to blog, just that I've been lazy. I'd like to overcome this as well.
Shall continue writing more..

Sayonara..:-)
